NOTE: The following steps must be completed before using a symptom
table.
1. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle before using a symptom table
in order to verify
that all of the following conditions are true:
There are no DTCs set.
The control modules can communicate via the serial dat
Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
3.
Oil Pan Drain Plug (1) - Remove.
4. Oil Pan Drain Plug Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD.
5. Drain the engine oil into a suitable container.
6.
Remove and DISCARD the oil filter. (1)
7. Ensure that the
