Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
NOTE: The drive shaft remains in the wheel hub.
2. Front Wheel Drive Half Shaft- Right Side@Transfer Case - D
Steering Gear Preload Adjustment Caution
CAUTION: Do not change the steering gear preload adjustment before
moving the
inner tie rod from the steering gear. Changing the steering gear preload
adjustment before moving the inner tie rod could result in damage to the
pinion and the steering gear.
