Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

Front Side Door Window Garnish Molding Replacement.

  1. Outside Rearview Mirror Bolt [3x]
    CAUTION: Fastener Caution.
    Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  2. Outside Rearview Mirror
    Procedure
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Unlock the retaining tabs.
    3. {If equipped} Side View Driver Information Camera - Programming and Setup.

OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR HOUSING UPPER COVER REPLACEMENT

Preliminary Procedure

Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement.

  1. Outside Rearview Mirror Upper Housing Cover
    Procedure
    1. Apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces.
    2. Release the retaining tabs.
    3. Use a flat bladed plastic tool to remove.

OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR HOUSING BEZEL REPLACEMENT

Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Upper Cover Replacement.

  1. Outside Rearview Mirror Opening Applique Bolt [3x]
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution.
    Tighten 0.9 N.m (8 lb in)
  2. Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Bezel
    Procedure Release the retaining tabs.

OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT

Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Upper Cover Replacement.

  1. Outside Rearview Mirror Actuator Bolt
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution.
    Tighten 1.2 N.m (11 lb in)
  2. Outside Rearview Mirror Actuator
    Procedure
    1. Release the retaining tab.
    2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR GLASS REPLACEMENT

  1. Outside Rearview Mirror Glass
    WARNING: Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Warning
    Procedure
    1. Release the mirror glass backing from the mirror housing by pulling outward.
    2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

INSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR REPLACEMENT

Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Replacement.

  1. Inside Rearview Mirror Bolt
    CAUTION: Fastener Caution
    Tighten 1.8 N.m (16 lb in)
  2. Inside Rearview Mirror
    Procedure
